From this dependable and early cropper, anticipate a substantial crop of dark-skinned courgettes. There are many uses for this delicious summer vegetable, and any that grow to be too large to be used as courgettes can be allowed to develop into marrows. Ideal for growing in a vegetable garden or border. Sow individually indoors from April to June before planting out or in even rows outside from May to June. Harvest from July to October. Frequent harvesting will encourage the growth of more courgettes.
