Underground cable is used to connect the energizer to the fence and the earth rods. The cable is also used to make underground fence connections for under gates or openings. 1.6mm ground cable should not be used for distances of more than 25 metres. The handy 1 metre marks on the cable makes set up easier as the measuring is done for you. Double insulated, the conductive cable is hardwearing and ensures protection in the ground. The wire should be installed by an experienced person as it is important it is done correctly and is buried at a suitable depth.
