This Philmac Heavy Gauge reducing set is for use in a Philmac fitting to reduce the size of one end of the fitting from 1 Normal Gauge hydro Piping to 1/2 Normal Gauge Hydro Piping. The fitting is made from high performance thermoplastic and has outstanding impact, UV, chemical and corrosion resistance. To install simply remove the nut all other inserts from your Philmac fitting and insert the reducing set until secure. Then re-fasten the nut, hand tighten and then tighten with a wrench.
