Pre-milking teat preparation:
Recommended for good milk let down, and avoiding contamination of the milking system.

1.    Ensure teats are free of visible dirt before teat dip application. Wipe clean with individual towels.
2.    Apply an appropriate pre-milking teat dip or udder-wash ensuring full surface coverage of the teat. Prepare a fresh solution daily.
3.    Allow a convenient contact time (minimum 30 seconds) for effective sanitisation of teats.
4.    Dry teats thoroughly using individual paper towels or disposable wipes before attaching the milking cluster.

Post-milking application:
1.    Fill the dipping cup, sprayer or reservoir of the milking robot with the ready-to-use product.
2.    After milking, apply Dual Defence by dipping (5ml per cow) or by spraying (7 to 8ml per cow) ensuring coverage of teat end and full length of the teat.
3.    For the highest level of protection in between milking periods, keep the cows standing until the product has dried.
4.    Rinse out application equipment with warm water.
5.    For the next milking, use a teat cleaning and wiping method as above before attaching the milking cluster. Repeat the application before each milking.

Precautionary statements: 
Avoid release to the environment. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. 
Immediately call a Poison Centre or doctor. 
Absorb spillage to prevent material damage.
