Butox pour-on is specifically designed for the prevention and treatment of a variety of external parasites. Botox can be used on cattle and sheep for the prevention and treatment of flies, ked and lice.
Cattle weighing up to 100 kg should receive a 10 ml dose. Cattle from 100 kg to 300 kg should receive 20 ml and cattle over 300kg should get a 30ml topical application.
Prevention and treatment of biting and sucking lice on calves, adult cattle and sheep should be given 10 ml per animal irrespective of weight. Prevention and treatment of sheep keds is also a 10ml application irrespective of weight.
Apply the recommended dose by pouring it along the animal's spine from the base of the head to the tail. For sheep, it is recommended that the fleece is parted during administration. By doing this you are placing the active ingredient closer to the skin.
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient. Do not treat calves less than 7 days of age.
The milk withdrawal period for both sheep and cattle is 12 hours. The cattle meat withdrawal is 18 days and the sheep meat withdrawal is 48 hours.
