Disease resistance, Resistant to harsh winter conditions. This Kale's narrow leaves have a heavily savoyed, 'bubbly' appearance. It cooks quickly while retaining a rich dark green colour, a wonderful flavour, and a delicate texture. Cavolo Nero is a cold-hardy cabbage that can withstand conditions that other cabbage relatives cannot. The flavour, like that of parsnips, is enhanced by an evening frost.
