We have a range of Herbaceous Perennial Red plants 1.5L for you to choose from. Herbaceous perennials are a hardy plant and can be planted in various gardens from Cottage Garden, Prairie Style, Container Gardening, Contemporary Gardening, Small Gardens, Urban Gardens, Wildflower Gardens and Wildlife Gardens. Herbaceous plants are all pollinator plants and are great for bees. Perennial red plants are also slug resistant, this ensures that you have no slugs eating the leaves of your beautiful flowers. The Herbaceous plants are not fussy to soil conditions and will flower in Autumn/Summer. These plants will grow between 30-50 cm and require very little maintenance. The plants will thrive in sunny or partial shade position. Once these perennials bloom, they give a beautiful fragrance to your garden, along with beautiful colouring. We have the following Perennial reds for you to choose from.

1. The Penstemon Pentastic have large flowers, that re-bloom throughout the seasons, over short dense foliage. Easy to grow. Loved by pollinators and bees. After flowering pinch back and they will re-bloom. Dead-head regularly to encourage further flowering

2. Phlox paniculata Early Red are very popular for its midsummer display in the border. This hybrid compact selection, part of the Early Start series, blooms earlier than other traditional paniculata types and produces large clusters of showy, fragrant, red flowers. Loved by pollinators and bees. After flowering pinch back and they will re-bloom. Dead-head regularly to encourage further flowering

3. Salvia Greggii Royal Bumble produces intense scarlet red blooms; this plant can be planted in partial shade or sunny conditions. Prune back a bit annually to maintain tidiness. Best in well-drained soil, side-dress with compost in Spring. Loved by pollinators and bees. After flowering pinch back and they will re-bloom. Dead-head regularly to encourage further flowering
