This vicegrip from Irwin is made from tempered and hardened nickel plated , steel for strength. The two serrated gripping surfaces provide a sure grip. The opening is fully adjustable by turnig the dial at the shank end. Simply close the handle tightly to achieve an automatic lock on the item within. A lever on the handle allows and instant release.The handles are high quality pressed steel with hardened rivets.
