May 20, 2014

The Barretstown and Glanbia: Sowing the Seeds of Magic garden celebrates the amazing five year charity partnership.

Children Gardening
Glanbia and its employees raised an amazing €1.6m for Barretstown through the support of thousands of Glanbia employees and customers from across Ireland.

As a fitting tribute to this partnership this beautiful garden will be transplanted to Barretstown after Bloom as a lasting legacy of Glanbia’s contribution to Barretstown. The garden will then be enjoyed by the families who visit Barretstown for years to come.

Barretstown is a specially designed residential camp in Co. Kildare. Their mission is to rebuild the lives of children affected by serious illness through a world leading, medically endorsed programme of Therapeutic Recreation, or as our campers say ‘Serious Fun’!
