Speaking at the launch, Evanne said, “I am delighted to support the Glanbia CountryLife
Mother’s Day Bloom Bowl campaign which raises money for and maintains an awareness of
breast cancer at a time of year when we cherish and celebrate women – our mothers, sisters
and loved ones.”

Our 16 CountryLife garden centres will sell this special floral gift for Mother’s Day with all
proceeds from the sale going to the Irish Cancer Society. According to the most recent data
from the National Cancer Registry of  Ireland , breast cancer will affect one in ten women in
Ireland. You can help support action breast cancer by purchasing this beautiful gift.

Mother’s Day Bloom BowlThe Mother’s Day Bloom Bowl – a collection of seasonal bedding plants of Primroses, Narcissus 'Tête-à-tête' and Pansies arranged in a pink Roma Planter bowl – will go on sale in all Glanbia CountryLife garden centres next week. All of the flowers are grown in Ireland by Bord Bia award-winning grower Spring Nurseries, Co. Cork.

“We are delighted to receive this support from Glanbia for our Action Breast Cancer programme. Most of us have been affected in some way and they are giving consumers an easy way to give something back this Mother’s Day. Money raised from this initiative will go towards funding our free, nationwide information and support service available to all those affected by breast cancer. Anyone concerned about breast cancer should call the Irish Cancer Society’s National Cancer Helpline on Freefone 1800 200 700”
